thecheappop.com's Best Night Ever to take flight in NYC

Jon Chattman, the founder of the pop culture humor site thecheappop.com and co-author of the acclaimed celebrity mustache book The Book of 'Bert,' is throwing a party in New York City to kick off the summer once again with "thecheappop's Best Night Ever 2." The event will take place from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Arctica Bar on 384 Third Avenue (Between 27th and 28th Streets) in New York, NY.

The evening will include tunes spun by the Arctica DJ, copies of The Book of 'Bert' available to purchase with Jon Chattman, Rich Tarantino and Brett Underhill signing them; CD giveaways, and pop-related raffles. Like any party from thecheappop.com, countless self-adhesive mustaches will be handed out.

Thecheappop.com was created in October 2005 by Chattman as a way to entertain and a fill the void (lack thereof) of pop culture news on the web. This site features quirky celebrity interviews, tasteful candid celeb photos, entertainment reviews, biting inane short films, and zany humor stories. As acclaimed satirist Mo Rocca states, "thecheappop.com is a terrific site for pop culture news, with lots of original material - all written with wit and good nature. It's been running strong since October 2005 - in web terms, a near miracle of staying power.

Chattman recently released The Book of 'Bert,' a celebrity mustache humor book co-written by Rich Tarantino. His next book, Rock On!, is an anthology of first concert experiences. He co-wrote it with Ellen Feig and it will be released this fall. There will be opportunities to preorder the latter book at the July 12 party.
